HISTORY, REVIVAL, AND PRAYER

Forerunner House of Prayer began in January of 1993 as “Green Forest Christian Center.” From the beginning, our passion has been to “Know God and Make Him Known.”

In the late Summer of 1996, a powerful revival swept through our church. This revival had a significant impact throughout much of the Ozarks region for the next several years. Revival is in our “spiritual DNA.” We love revival and constantly contend for an awakening in our nation.

By “Forerunner,” we mean “one who goes before the face of the Lord with a message.” That message is simple: Jesus has come, He is coming again, and this changes everything. By “House of Prayer” we mean that we are committed to praying for our church, our city, our state, our nation, and the world. Though our prayer meeting schedule is fluid, at any given time we have multiple prayer meetings going on each week. Reach out to us for the current schedule.
